Welcome to the Hobbit Mossad Website
Hobbit:
From J.R.R. Tolken's The Hobbit and the Lord of the Rings. A friendly humanoid about half the size of a grown man that has the ability of incredible stealth. I understand that a certain magic ring did not hurt the stealth reputation of a certain hobbit.
Mossad:
Israel's counter intelligence and anti-terrorist combat group. They are the best because they have to be.
Hobbit Mossad:
A group of strategically minded paintball players that enjoy scenario games and realistic style paintball guns. Tactics and fire control are a big part of our game. The phrase was coined as a joke, but eventually led to the motto: "Silence is a Deadly Weapon." Some of the group is crazy enough to push the surrender rule, "No shooting an opponent at less than ten feet," to its limits.
If we are tapping you on the shoulder, you should take the hit!

We are a group of scenario paintball players who use tactics to play. We are more interested in making the scenario fun than just shooting everybody on the opposing team. We play with the old rules of accuracy, one shot, one kill; instead of accuracy by volume. We don't wear bright color jersey or use brightly colored guns. All of our gear looks military/tactical. For the most part that's where we got them. For us the biggest thrill is not shooting a ton of paint at an opponent; its sneaking close enough to make the person surrender without firing a single shot. I guess this makes us poor tournament players; that's okay we don't typically do tournaments.

The group has been together for a couple of years now, although the name has recently been adopted. Many of us have played paintball as individuals for quite some time. The common bond has been the scenario games. Many of us met during scenario games at the Paintball Park in Memphis, TN. Eventually we got tired of shooting each other and decided to exchange e-mails. When the scenario games roll around, we all talk and join the same side. Now when a scenario game comes around, people outside of the group send us e-mails or get in touch with us to see what side we are going to play. Regardless of what is going on, we always manage to have fun and seem to attract a lot of attention. Our style of play, our equipment, and the leadership roles that we instinctively take make us high profile on the field.

On a whim, Mic decided to design a website to talk about us and our exploits. We hope that you enjoy what you see and may get a few ideas for your games. Take a look around, and remember: "Silence is a Deadly Weapon."
